The Global Health Film Festival believes that film has the power to communicate stories, to stir emotions, to inspire, to encourage action and to redress inequities in health. The primary objective of the Festival is to promote film and media as a catalyst to inspire change.

The Festival is held by Global Health Film initiative (GHFi) which is a partnership between the Royal Society Medicine, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
